Digitally Reversing the Aging Process

The next exercise will concentrate mostly on the woman's face. You'll use a new layer to paint over some age spots and dark circle areas under the eyes. You will paint with colors sampled from the actual image to accomplish this and use a low Flow brush setting to give a more natural result.

There's something else you need to keep in mind when painting new areas onto a photograph. Just about every photographic image has some level of noise throughout the image. Noise is that grainy quality that becomes especially noticeable when you zoom in at a high magnification on a particular area.
