Using the Clone Stamp tool by itself isn't hard. What might be a challenge, however, is knowing when and where to use the tool. Not to worry; this book contains solutions, not problems. In the steps to follow, we'll go from the “easy” cloning to the “difficult” cloning.
Now it's time to clean up a bit. We'll start at the bottom of the Tama guitar:
Cloning Away the Bottom of the Guitar
1. | Zoom in to a 300% viewing resolution of the bottom of the guitar. |
2. | On the Layers palette, click the Background layer to make it the active (editing) layer. |
3. | Choose the Clone Stamp tool, choose a hard brush tip, and adjust the Master Diameter to about 30 pixels. |
