Replacing Text

Here's the deal: If you have a healthy supply of retro fonts loaded on your machine, keep reading. If not, close Photoshop for a moment, and load AirstreamNF and GothamRailCompanyNF, both typefaces in the Examples/Chap19 folder on the companion CD. I worked with Nick Curtis to provide these commercial fonts free of charge to you especially for this chapter's assignment, and I'll bet Nick would appreciate it if you checked out his advertisement in the back of this book!

It would be ridiculous to try to hand-trace or even auto-trace each character on the poster, so instead, we'll use aesthetics and good judgment to find fonts that would be good substitutions for the existing typefaces. We have and use artistic license.
