Adding a Border

Adding a border to the paths you've already created is a really simple procedure. But it's a necessary step, and if you haven't fooled with Photoshop's Shape tools yet, this will be good experience.

Here's how to add a rectangular border:

Montana: North of the Border

1.
Press Ctrl()+minus key to zoom out of the poster until you can see the entire image. Double-clicking on the Hand tool on the toolbox will do this.
2.
Click on an empty area of the Paths palette so that the shape you create is not added to existing paths.
3.
Choose the Rectangle (shape) tool from the toolbox.
4.
Click on the Paths icon on the Options bar.
5.
Drag a rectangle ...
