Take the time to set things up correctly in Photoshop because Photoshop offers a more robust feature set for the actual designing aspect of your graphics. After you set things up, you can focus on creating rollovers and optimizing image slices. Then you can export the results and easily be done with the ImageReady side of preparing files for the Web.
