From Illustrator to Photoshop

Because Illustrator can handle both vector and bitmap information, you can export a bitmap from Illustrator right into Photoshop. To do that, you use the Edit, Paste or the Rasterize commands, depending on the type of data included in the image. I explain both methods in the following sections. One command requires that the design is already in bitmap format, whereas the other converts a vector design to bitmap format.

Edit, Paste
