From Photoshop to PageMaker

Importing an image from Photoshop into PageMaker is a simple process. PageMaker's importing options are almost identical to those found in Quark Xpress, as you will learn in the following sections.

Edit, Paste Special

PageMaker is an OLE client and server, so that means you can copy an image from Photoshop and then use the Edit, Paste Special command in PageMaker to import the image. You can then double-click on it and edit it in Photoshop at any point in the future. Or you can choose Paste Special, Bitmap for an unlinked/unembedded import of the image (see Figure 25.4).
