JRebel plugin for IDEs (Must know)

The JRebel technology can be integrated in many IDEs, like Eclipse, IntelliJ IDEA, and NetBeans. We'll see how to install and activate the JRebel plugin on each platform.

Getting ready

You need to download and install at least one of these IDEs: Eclipse, IntelliJ IDEA, or NetBeans, and perform the following steps:

  1. Download and install the latest version of Eclipse IDE for Java EE Developers from http://www.eclipse.org/downloads/. Please note that JRebel works on Eclipse IDE for Java Developers and Eclipse Standard editions too. Also, distributions delivered by Linux package managers (from Ubuntu, and so on) may work correctly. Once downloaded and installed, run it.
