Getting ready

Create a simple Java application or use the feedback application we have just created. Here I have used the same to create a distributable.

How to do it...

  • Go to Run | Build Project or simply press F11.
  • Right-click on the project name and select Build from the context menu.

How it works...

This will create the distributable for your project consisting of the dist folder that has an executable JAR file to run your project. If you have used any libraries or JAR files in your project, it will also create a lib folder inside the dist
