Developing a web application using NetBeans IDE (Become an expert)

In this recipe, we will learn about developing a web application using NetBeans IDE.

Getting ready

Create a Java web project named FeedbackWebApplication, as we have discussed in the Creating different applications in NetBeans IDE recipe. To create this project, you must have MySQL database installed since we will be creating a database. You must also have some knowledge of the Java EE framework so that you can work with servlets, JSP, Beans, and so on.

You'll also need to create a database in MySQL named feedback and a database table named Feedback with the following structure:

Feedback(FirstName character(30), LastName character(50), Email character(100), Contact character(15), ...
