Installation

PrimeFaces is a lightweight library with minimal external dependencies and zero configuration. It is possible to add PrimeFaces to a JSF2 application by copying a single JAR file! We want to demonstrate all the capabilities of PrimeFaces, so we will take a few moments to set up our development environment before we take a deep dive into PrimeFaces. We will use Eclipse 4 (Juno) with Maven support as our Java IDE, GlassFish 3 as our Java EE 6 application server, and Adobe Dreamweaver CS6 with JSF, Facelets, and PrimeFaces plugins as our web authoring tool.
