Giving a label to Memory Plaza (Intermediate)

In the last recipe, we created a bar graph that became a part of our sunset cityscape. Unfortunately, it blends in so well that you probably lost the graph in the picture.

We will now create a text label to the graph, but we will use relative positioning to ensure that the label sticks to the graph properly.

Getting ready

You should have gone through the previous recipe and understood the process of creating a skin, and positioning it on screen.

How to do it...

  1. Edit the existing bar graph by right-clicking on it, and selecting Edit Skin.

    The Notepad app should open up with the code for the skin .ini file.

  2. Add the following code block to the bottom of the .ini file:
    [Label] Meter=String Text=Memory FontColor=255,255,255,255 ...
