Creating a Hibernate project (Must know)

Most modern enterprise applications are concerned with capturing and manipulating data, so you won't go far as an enterprise developer without a working knowledge of databases and data access code. In this recipe, we're going to use STS to create a Hibernate-based persistence project that stores restaurant reservations to a database.

How to do it...

Let's start by creating our Hibernate-based project, updating its Spring libraries, and running a test to verify that everything is working:
