xMY EXPERIENCE WITH UNUMPROVIDENT SHOWS HOW OUT OF CONtrol large corporations and especially big insurance companies are in our society. They have the money, the lawyers, the PR firms, the lobbyists, and the friends in high places to be able to get away with just about whatever they want. The rest of us have just a piece of paper with a promise on it, which is worthless if they choose not to honor it. Unfortunately, I am only one of thousands who have been forced to fight their insurance companies to get their contract benefits and who have lost everything in the process.
