MEASURING THE EFFECTIVENESS OF MENTORING PROGRAMS
INTRODUCTION
This case study demonstrates how nontraditional learning initiatives, like mentoring programs, can be successfully designed and evaluated using Six-Sigma methodology, statistical analysis, and traditional learning evaluation methods. This case highlights a sales mentoring pilot program that contained unique design elements, which resulted in mentored associates statistically outperforming their peers by 55 percent over eight months.
