The environment preparation for AppDefense deployment is as follows:

Phase 1:
- Install vCenter
- Install ESXi Hosts
- Install NSX Manager
- Install vRealize Automation

Install and deploy AppDefense components: The application and infrastructure team is responsible for the installation and support of the AppDefense platform components and for selecting the target application. Provisioning the target applications to be tested against and simulating standard changes to provisioned applications are also performed by the application team.

Phase 2:
- Provision AppDefense login
- Download AppDefense appliance
- Deploy AppDefense appliance OVA
