Conventions used

There are a number of text conventions used throughout this book.

CodeInText: Indicates code words in text, database table names, folder names, filenames, file extensions, pathnames, dummy URLs, user input, and Twitter handles. Here is an example: "If we can't connect using wget, download the .rpm."

Any command-line input or output is written as follows:

# cd /opt/serengeti/www/yum/repos/centos/6/base/RPMS/wget http://mirror.centos.org/centos/6/os/x86_64/Packages/mailx-12.4-7.el6.x86_64.rpm

Bold: Indicates a new term, an important word, or words that you see on screen. For example, words in menus or dialog boxes appear in the text like this. Here is an example: "We have to select the Install radial button and fill out the ...
