Remember the quiet of the global pandemic lockdown? The way traffic was silenced—no cars, no buses, no trains, no planes—which meant birds could be heard as they haven't for years. For those of us who weren't on the frontlines (and blessings of gratitude for those heroes who were), an unexpected silence became the collective reality. Within that silence, we three began to wonder if THIS was the moment companies and their leaders would, finally, wake up and change.

We launched PrismWork in the middle of 2020 as companies and their leaders scrambled to figure out a new operating system for the workplace. The PrismWork founders and our consulting partners came together with a shared vision for fostering sustainable workplaces that would deliver on the promise of the triple bottom line. We have partnered with clients who understand that widening the lens to include people, planet, and profits is essential for their company's success and that having a triple bottom‐line approach is key to future‐proofing their companies.

Early clients included a fast‐growing start‐up that wanted to “get culture right” so it was built to last, a decades‐old company led by a CEO who was surprised to learn many on his own leadership team did not feel a sense of inclusion or belonging, and a well‐established mid‐tier company with a new chief people officer who saw the pandemic as a chance to reinforce or remake their company's culture.
