Let’s Do This: Breaking the Ice

Who has time for an icebreaker in an online event? There’s barely enough time to cover the critical content. So, it’s better to just skip the touchy-feely stuff and dive straight into the material. Right?

Not necessarily. Far too many online events are run as boring webinars or meetings, with dozens or hundreds in attendance (sit down), audio controls set to mute (be quiet), chat often disabled (don’t interact), and the facilitator launching into lecture mode (time to multitask).
