utters an instruction in the form of a negative statement, which modifies the
initial directives into a declarative prefiguring the formulation of the rule
(l. 3). As soon as Raph notices the off-side, which causes the stoppage of
the game, he turns to Luc and repeats the instruction (l. 6), self-quoting
it and waving his index finger, pointing to him in a gesture of reprobation
(figure 23). The suspension of the game is the occasion to elaborate on the
last action, and to orient strongly towards the addressee.
