CREATING A TOC
Common in long print documents, a table of contents is also an essential element in an eBook. In fact, you can't create a valid EPUB without one. When exported to EPUB, Interactive PDF, or SWF, an InDesign TOC is yet one more way to add interactivity to your digital documents and provide navigation hyperlinks to your referenced TOC destinations.
