ABSTRACT: Most of the prior studies examined self-esteem as an antecedent of compulsive buying behaveor.
However, self-completion theory suggests that self-esteem can be the function of compulsive buying as well.
However, till to date no prior studies have investigated these two directional relationship in one single study.
