Releasing a Website to the World
After ensuring that a website is fully functional, error-free, and secure, the overall objective of the site can finally be achieved. Several verbs are used to describe the actions that make the website available to its intended audience: release, deploy, upload, launch, publish, and a couple of others. Whichever verb you wish to use to describe your success is just fine. However, you should perform several steps before that happy moment.
Three major phases comprise what we will call “The Launch:” pre-launch, launch, and post-launch. Obvious, for sure, but necessary to ensure a successful website.
