The Memory Effects of Thematically Induced Emotion
How does emotion, experienced during an event, shape our subsequent memory for that event? In addressing this broad question, it seems worthwhile to remind ourselves just how wide a range of phenomena is included under the rubric of emotion. After all, emotions come in many different varieties and intensities, and are accompanied by diverse cognitive, behavioral, and attitudinal effects.
