In Chapter 6, "Introduction to Families," we discussed the broader role that families play in Revit. A single chapter cannot do this subject true justice. This entire book—even perhaps several books—could be consumed with the vagaries of creating families, if you consider the full scope of the work you do. This chapter serves, as the book's title suggests, as your introduction to creating Revit families.
