Part IV: Programming InfoPath Forms

Part IV introduces you to the InfoPath 2003 Toolkit for Visual Studio .NET, which enables substituting managed Visual Basic .NET or Visual C# code for VBScript or JavaScript to implement business logic behind InfoPath forms. You learn how to write and debug simple Visual Basic .NET event–handling procedures, explore the InfoPath Document Object Model (DOM), design procedures that use XPath to retrieve and update DOM data, and create a complete XML Web service client/server solution with a full–featured Web service that runs on your development computer.
