Transportation Models
23.1 Introduction
This chapter presents the general concepts and formulation of transportation and
trans-shipment problems. These are special cases of linear optimization problems.
The main goal is to formulate these problems as linear optimization problems
and compute minimum cost to transport a product as the optimal solution computed.
