Cables in buildings and between buildings

Cables technologies do not last as long as buildings. For this reason, it must be assumed that the cables will, sooner or later, have to be upgraded or replaced or extended. In years to come we will be using technology that has not yet been invented so predicting the necessary cable is impossible.

When a building is being designed, we must include pathways that are actually the containers for the cables or their access routes. It is important that telecommunication routes or pathways are carefully thought out and included in the initial design and costing, as well as providing scope for later modifications.
