About the Author
Tony Levene has been a financial journalist for nearly 40 years, after spending a year or so teaching French beforehand. He writes on issues ranging from investment to consumer rights – sometimes both at the same time. Over his career, he has worked for newspapers including The Guardian, The Sunday Times, Sunday Express, Daily Express, The Sun, Daily Star, and Sunday Mirror. He has also published eight previous books on investment and financial issues. He lives in London with his wife Claudia. He has two ‘grown up’ children, Zoë and Oliver, and a cat, Pandora.
This book is dedicated to Claudia, for her patience during the book’s gestation; to my son Oliver for persuading me to write the very first edition; and to Zoë for her suggestions and approval of my initial chapters way back when I started Investing For Dummies.
