It has been said that the exercise of pricing an app is as much an art as it is a science. There is no doubt that pricing is a challenge, especially with iPhone/iPad applications because the App Store is so large with many different price points, mostly at one dollar. The state of the economy over the past several years has not helped the situation for developers given people are evaluating their purchases more closely. Even a $0.99 app is scrutinized as the customer decides whether to spend their dollar on your app or someone else’s.
