Chapter 4. Listening to Music on an iPod

IN THIS CHAPTER

  • Pick some music, any music.

  • Control your music like a pro.

  • Create and listen to an On-The-Go playlist.

  • Check your battery.

  • Make your iPod obey you from a distance.

In this chapter, you’ll learn how to listen to and control your iPod tunes. Like any other device on which you listen to music, listening to music on an iPod is a two-step process. You first select the music to which you want to listen. Then you play and control that music.

As you rock on, jazz up, classical out, etc., you’ll also find some other tasks useful, such as creating and using an On-The-Go playlist, rating your tunes, and monitoring your battery.
