Chapter 22. Social Networking
Some of the most popular places to "connect" these days are those sites that are often referred to as social networking sites—places that allow you to create your own "page" to broadcast your interests and to connect with friends and family to see what is going in their lives. Some of the biggest web sites for social networking are Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn. Apple just introduced its own sort of music social networking site called Ping, which is part of iTunes; you can read more about it in Chapter 19: "iTunes on your iPod Touch" and Chapter 29: "Your iTunes User Guide." Apple also introduced Game Center, which has a social networking component to it, which we talk about in Chapter 21: "Games and Fun."
