Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) is a graphical framework for creating rich user interfaces. Evolved from the WinForms framework, it provides a similar functionality (for example, input controls, data binding, and handling of user actions).
This is where the similarity ends. WPF is richer, and more mature, and makes complicated tasks turn to a matter of minutes. It’s like WinForms on steroids.
