Need for an ISD Book for Students and Practitioners

The field of instructional design is a dynamic enterprise with numerous perspectives, approaches, and philosophies concerning every aspect of the topic. Whether one considers constructivist or behaviorist theory to be more persuasive, or whether objectives need to be observable and measurable or would be perfectly acceptable at the “understanding” level of sophistication, the topic of instructional design often starts a healthy debate.
