The Content Mastery Continuum and the Mastery Tipping Point
The work of Benjamin Bloom and other educators was a turning point in the modern practice of instructional design. They evolved taxonomies to assist in describing learning competencies across a scale of different complexities and domains. In turn, these added levels of classification of behaviors allow designers to fine-tune objectives to match the learning environment in which they are being implemented. This is crucial in writing evaluation tasks and making sure there is performance agreement within a learning module, course, and project.
