Chapter 4. The iSeries Access for Web V5R2
5250 interface
This chapter introduces the iSeries Access for Web 5250 interface available in V5R2. iSeries
Access for Web V5R2 introduces a new 5250 interface with enhanced functionality. iSeries
Access for Web V5R1 used Host Publisher 3.5, specifically XML Legacy Gateway. This
interface did not provide the same look and feel Client Access Express users and
administrators had experienced in the past.
The new V5R2 interface provides users a traditional 5250 look and feel. A Web view interface
is also available for users who are more comfortable with the browser look and feel.
