Clause 8.1: Operation Planning and Control
When “operation planning” is talked about, it is important to understand the difference between two commonly used plans—that is, strategic and operational. The strategic plan generally sets goals and objectives, identifying a set of strategies to follow for the organization to achieve pre-established goals. It serves as a guide for management that reflects the priorities of the internal stakeholders, but does not contain detailed activity description.
