CHAPTER 5: ISO 22301 – BCMS – REQUIREMENTS
Similar to other standards, ISO 22301 devotes its first three sections to:
1.Scope;
2.Normative references; and
3.Terms and definitions.
The remaining seven sections are summarised as follows:
4 Context of the organisation
This section of the Standard is concerned with identifying the key operational aspects of your organisation, such as:
•Understanding the context your organisation operates within;
•The needs and expectations of interested parties;
•Legal and regulatory requirements related to the continuity of the services or products you offer; and
