ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF KEY STAKEHOLDERS

This section builds on the audience perspectives of the first chapter and the stakeholder view of the previous section. The focus is primarily on the key stakeholder roles of IT-enabled business change with supplementary information on related stakeholder roles. These key roles are as follows:

(i) Sponsor – this role oversees the change and the delivery of the benefits.

(ii) Business analysts – these ensure a business-driven approach to the change.

(iii) Programme manager – this role plans and ensures delivery of the change.

(iv) Business change manager – this role manages the change in the business.

(v) Business actors – these provide knowledge of key business areas.
