Taking a systemic view

Utilising a systems thinking approach helps to give a broad perspective of the business objectives and the delivery of the IT-enabled business change. It is not about designing an IT system at this stage since the focus remains on analysing the business change.

Systems thinking enables us to describe and analyse the drivers and interrelationships that shape the behaviour of systems. Taking a holistic perspective allows us to analyse the complexity of relationships between the components, as compared with the reductionism approach, where the aim is to analyse the detailed components.
