Reading People around the World

They say that an Argentine is an Italian who speaks Spanish, pretends to be British, and likes to live in Paris. I was born in Buenos Aires, where we’ve always been keen observers of the rest of the world, particularly Europe and North America. I grew up speaking Spanish but studied English, French, and Latin at school, then learned Portuguese and Italian through work experience, so I can now comfortably read and communicate in five languages. Each year I circle the globe some ten times for executive search and speaking engagements, repeatedly visiting forty different countries.

As I write this, I’ve just returned from a marathon of lectures in Hong Kong, Shenzhen, and Beijing, and I’m soon heading for another ...
