Summary
This chapter provided an introduction to the case studies that will be used throughout this book. These case studies provide examples of problems that real-world applications must tackle. After covering the various constituent technologies of J2EE (and there are more than a few), we will revisit these case studies and use them to create two examples of J2EE applications.
