WebLogic Server and Distributed Transactions

Distributed transactions are those that span multiple resources such as an Oracle database, a Sybase database, and a message-oriented middleware product such as IBM MQSeries. In these combinations, a single transaction should govern all of the operations on all of the resources. As with any other transaction, either all operations succeed, or none of them do.
