Application Deployments

Application deployments are the simplest to architect for WebLogic Server. In application deployments, the only clients that access WebLogic Server are applications. These communicate via the Java standards for RMI.

Typical Application Deployment Architecture

The typical deployment architecture for an application deployment involves two types of components: client-side applications and WebLogic Server instances. The clients communicate over a network to make requests to the WebLogic Server instances (see Figure 13-11).
