Writing the model class

Before we look at that, though, there are a few more items in the main controller that we need to take care of. The first is the model class mentioned earlier, SocialMediaItem. As you can probably imagine, the structure of the data returned from a social network can be quite complex, and certainly, varied. The data requirements for a tweet, for example, are likely to be quite different from those for an Instagram post. What we'd like to be able to do, then, is to hide those complexities and differences behind a simple, reusable interface.
