Performance tuning tips are general guidelines to improve performance. Some of these tips get change with each new Java version, so we have to revisit our beliefs with each new Java version.
Most of these tips can be classified as micro-optimization techniques, which might not produce tangible performance improvements in our application.
Modern IDEs already suggest some of these optimization techniques to warn developers regarding required changes when writing the code. Also, automatic code analyzer tools (as we clarified in the previous section) can apply some of these recommendation tips.
