Overview of the InfoBus Architecture

The InfoBus is itself a Java API, jointly created by Lotus Development Corporation and Sun Microsystems'JavaSoft division, that allows cooperating JavaBeans to communicate data to one another. These Beans can be located in a Java application or even on a Web page. In InfoBus parlance, there are three main terms (and roles) to keep in mind: data producers, data consumers, and data controllers. Here's a brief description of each of these terms:
