URL Structure
Using a valid and logical URL structure is vital to your search engine optimization (SEO) efforts. It plays a major role in Google algorithms. These rules are not hard to guess; they are the same as those you would want URLs to adhere to yourself, as a user.
- They should be short, so that they are easy to remember.
- They should be readable to humans and search engines (search engine friendly [SEF]), not something like this:
/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=1.
