There's a terrific amount of Web-page power in Joomla, and this chapter takes a look at it in depth. You can set up articles so that Joomla starts publishing them at a later date automatically — or even stops publishing them automatically at a later date. You can insert images in articles, track page hits, set up article columns, and create automatic tables of contents. You can even allow some users to edit articles from the front end (not the back end), although you get the chance to approve or disapprove their edits before they get published.

That's the kind of stuff that's coming up in this chapter. We introduce writing Web-page content in Chapter 4, but this chapter is where this topic really takes off. To start this chapter, you get control of the article-creation process, seeing what options are available and putting those options to work.
