How it works…

Step 1 verifies that we can successfully login to the network management station and create files in a writable directory by running a local-only SSH session.

Step 2 defines the network management station and associated credentials as a destination within the JUNOS event management framework. Once declared in this way, the network management station can be the subject of upload activities from event policies, which may fire in response to events triggered.
